Surprise inspection

I skipped the luncheon at the POP Conference Monday, to make a surprise inspection.

The subjects did a world-class neck-snapping double-take when they returned from lunch in a black Tahoe to find yours truly standing on the steps of City Hall. I spent $25 on ferries and a sawbuck on gas to get there, and then had to turn right around and head back across Puget Sound in order to make my next session. The look on their faces, though, was priceless.

Hmmm...a nice uniform that doesn't look like a French meter maid, a Rush Limbaugh tie, and then some guy wearing a checked shirt and striped tie?

Quite the fashion palette on display!

Chief,
It was nice that you came to visit the Port Orchard, WA police Department. I know that you were dying to get a photo opportunity with two former employees of the LPD. I considered using my photo shop to make some alterations (not that I have ever done that before)but this photo says it all.
Life is good, and Al is great to work for. "G564"
