Something's not quite right here
I was doing a lot of GIS work last week, and ran across this interesting view of the area just west of downtown Lincoln in Google Maps. How long did it take you to spot the most glaring error?

5:30,
That was news to me, but it obviously is not an error: U.S. Highway 6 really is the Grand Army of the Republic Highway. Keep looking.
Platte River! LOLZ!
Platte River moved!!!
Didn't realize the Platte spilled over into Salt Creek!
I actually spotted that some time ago while looking for something else. I had to wonder if I was losing my mind or if someone else had.
I noticed that Platte River error about a month ago when I was looking for a map to the branch library in Air Park. I've never been to Air Park in 58 years of living in Lincoln, so I google-mapped the library and noticed the Platte River tag. I decided it was too far if I had to cross the Platte River to get to it.:)
I submitted the error to Google a few weeks ago but they still haven't changed it. Many of the streams around Lincoln are named the Platte ~_~ .....
No wonder I'm always getting lost! I have to quit using Google Maps.
Its entirely possible that this is a "trap street"!. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trap_street
Rory,
That's a new one on me. Thanks for the link!
I haven't had a Runza or frings for several years now, dangit, but this map reminded me!
