Frankly, I'm surprised there were no comments about this. I'm excited about it and I hope to see some of the LEOs I know included in this. The other side of the coin is, for me, I believe all LEOs are heroes; some are just quieter about their daily accomplishments, while some get lots of ink. Again, all heroes in different ways. I apologize for the comment I posted yesterday. I didn't watch the whole video and didn't realize this is about Officers who don't make it home...my comment doesn't make sense now, knowing what the real subject matter is. Please disregard.
I moderate comments submitted to this blog. I redact profanity, inane off-topic comments, bigoted garbage, personal attacks against others, and anything else I feel like deep sixing. I let a lot of stuff through that does not reflect my own opinion or that of the City of Lincoln or the departments I manage.
