It couldn't be any worse than the crappy music piped through our PA system at work, and that starts at 6 a.m.! I don't suppose you could send an officer out to stop that, could you?
From the looks of the area, it must have really been loud, or it was from a car parked out front. How did the officer resolve it so quickly?
Off-key singing can be awfully annoying, like nails on a chalkboard. In certain locales where training singers is taken very seriously, crooning a half-step flat is probably a misdemeanor, with a full step flat being a felony.
can you imagine the judge on that one, please read the facts.. well, so and so and the house here was singing karaoke. we cited him. judge (how do you plee) dev(guilty of out of tune)... I think whom ever called the cops on the 7 am karaoke should be cited..too much time on the hands..... can we cite the lawn guys at 630 am too for cutting the grass? now thats a real headache... good job LJP...
I moderate comments submitted to this blog. I redact profanity, inane off-topic comments, bigoted garbage, personal attacks against others, and anything else I feel like deep sixing. I let a lot of stuff through that does not reflect my own opinion or that of the City of Lincoln or the departments I manage. If you post a comment, you never know where it will go: this is all open to the public, so post at your own risk.

Early morning Karaoke partys were the best when I was at UNL...ok, maybe not.
It's never too early for Karaoke!!!
You gotta do something to brighten up a dreary morning!
Karaoke at 7 am? I like to sing in the shower, but that's getting carried away.

Your band has to practice sometime.
