I blogged about K-9 Brix's first arrest last week. Didn't take him long to notch number 2, an armed robbery suspect, no less!

I'm glad you got one of them, and those trained noses are hard to beat. I hope he'll drop a dime on the other one. I also hope that the juvie will be charged as an adult, because armed robbery is definitely an adult crime, a sign that you've volunteered to move up from the minor leagues.
Solo clerk, after dark, just like all the robbed Omaha Kwik Shops. After they close down the auto shop side, the clerk is all alone there. Do they still have this sign posted on the front door? It did last time I was there. If so, I guess the threat of a misdemeanor charge didn't deter someone already willing to commit a violent felony, imagine that.
I moderate comments submitted to this blog. I redact profanity, inane off-topic comments, bigoted garbage, personal attacks against others, and anything else I feel like deep sixing. I let a lot of stuff through that does not reflect my own opinion or that of the City of Lincoln or the departments I manage. If you post a comment, you never know where it will go: this is all open to the public, so post at your own risk.
