Different angle

That would be a 90 degree angle to the left, to be precise. Check out the comment posted late yesterday afternoon in response to my post Tagger nabbed way back on December 18. Follow the link to the Lincoln Journal Star article from July, 29 2007, and as the commentator suggests, tilt your head (to the right). Or I suppose you could tilt your monitor to the left.

What do you know, Kanji: Rain.

We arrested another downtown tagger yesterday, using a tag that looks like aek . I've been rotating his tag right and left without luck. My neck hurts.

  1. Hey Chief, just wanted to share my story with you. I was going to the downtown Valentino's to get a bite yesterday at lunch. That's when a saw a couple of kids running like their @$$ was on fire. They were coming right at me and the whole time I was wondering what was going on. Then I see the parking garage security guard in chase and could tell he really wanted to talk to these guys.

So, I gave chase. The short of it is, I caught up to the chubby one in front of Spaghetti Works where I watched him dump his magic markers and boot polish. I "gently" grabbed him to let him know I meant business and detained him until the officer arrived.

It felt great to help catch the little punk. After all this went down I decided to check his record out on the Lancaster County Attorney's website. I found that he had recently been arrested for carrying a concealed weapon. I might think twice about chasing somebody down the next time but I'll probably do it anyway.

Maybe he can enroll in the Lancaster County Jail Art Program.

  2. frinkster, you're great! Thanks for the assist, and the two on-the-ball employees of Republic Parking, too. Very nice catch. I am constantly amazed at the willingness of citizens in Lincoln to get involved, whether it's running down a purse snatcher, or just calling the police when they see someone prowling in the parking lot. A high level of citizen involvement is one of the things that distinguishes Lincoln from many communities with more serious crime problems.

  3. When I tilt my head 90 deg right, that D3M looks a lot like AME (try it).

  4. I tilted my head 90 degrees. It cut off my circulation. I passed out and hit my head on the coffee table.
