I have even talked to him at McDonald's a few times. He may irritate the heck out of a lot of people but as far as I know up until this recent incident he has been harmless. I can say NO to a panhandler but a sneak thief doesn't give you that option and unless the Law has been changed in the last session of the Unicameral it is still illegal to use deadly force to protect property.

Gun NutAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7225570644228196036.post-38518755305993708382011-08-01T08:04:31.609-05:002011-08-01T08:04:31.609-05:00According to records Mr. Wise owns the trailer he ...According to records Mr. Wise owns the trailer he lives in. LMAO, a pickup came westbound from McDonald's and brought the panhandler a sack of food. The recipient waited all of two minutes before tossing the food bag into the gutter, never even looked inside the bag. Must have been too hard to hold his (sic) "Hommeless, Please Hep" sign and a bag of food at the same time.Herbnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7225570644228196036.post-63776147689586073152011-07-29T07:43:48.847-05:002011-07-29T07:43:48.847-05:00He fits the bill.

However, if this guy couldn't make a living on the handouts he gets, he would probably start robbing people instead. About the only thing I can think of where I would make an exception is if someone were truly desperate and stealing for food or shelter simply to survive. This guy has a home, and apparently eats at McDonalds.Stevehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10369138557977907215noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7225570644228196036.post-61207548481762237542011-07-29T06:48:00.006-05:002011-07-29T06:48:00.006-05:00Especially for those of us who live near the North...Especially for those of us who live near the North Wal-Mart, Mr. Wise has ben a problem for some time. He wanders in and out of businesses, hangs around vehicles, scowls and stares at women as they wait in line lights at Wal-Mart, and has been spotted doing the same in other parts of town. Why are they allowed to loiter in busineseses or panhandle as you enter Wal-Mart property? Should we call police when we see someone with a sign and begging? This guy is a walking time-bomb, to many of us. As noted in the article, he's not homeless, probably lives on disability just like me, and begs for money to buy cigarettes and fast food (he also smokes an expensive brand, thanks to well-meaning folks who give him money). People who give to these folks only perpetuate the problem and I urge them to give to the City Mission, Matt Talbot or Salvation Army if they want to help the homeles and disadvantaged.Crazy Cat Ladyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09687005929136410972noreply@blogger.com
