Gary Lacey, our county attorney and chief prosecutor, sent me an email yesterday. He's hoping this crime does not come to Lincoln. I most heartily agree!
Wow, a way to get a deposit by using a deposit. This is not really funny. If someone said to me, "excuse me sir, but you have deposit on your shirt" I would say, " I know, new designer wear shirt by pew" And walk away.
Can you tell us any more about the robbery on 40th (I think near F St.) where the perp threatened with a gun and got the purse, etc., as I believe 3:43 referenced in his/her comment? I'm in that area a lot and would like to know if it was a truly random robbery, or if there was something else going on there.
Which format would LPD prefer for security camera videos, for easiest importation into your system? H.264 (which seems a format of choice for newer digital surveillance video these days), or do you prefer some other format? I was just curious what you'd like to get from a victimized business or homeowner on a USB drive, CD, or whatever.
I really can't talk about it, but you're nose is fine.

You're over my head with the codec question, but as more media, a CD or DVD is the best for us right now: cheap and disposable, and nothing that needs to be returned.
What a crappy thing to do!
ReplyDeleteSomebody should beat the crap out of them!

CCW - Thief "Give me all your Money." Response, "I don't think so!"
ReplyDeleteThat sort of reminds me of the joke about the young boy that sold record amounts of tooth brushes.
ReplyDeleteGun Nut
8:54-Are you saying it's a mistake to bring a poo squirter to a gun fight?
ReplyDeleteGun Nut-That is a great joke.
Tom-Hope this doesn't make it to Lincoln as well.

Did you send back a reply asking for fewer 4-for-1 wrist-slap plea deals?
ReplyDeleteReminds me of my favorite movie.

ReplyDeleteYou make me LOL! Thanks.

All chuckles aside, I'd be a lot more worried about stuff like this:
ReplyDeleteUNK B/M THREATENED V WITH GUN TOOK V'S PURSE PURSE, ID, CC
UNK PR HAD GUN TOLD V TO GET IN VEH PAY HIM $500 CASH
PR HAD GUN TOLD V TO PAY HIM $500 CASH
I think this one explains itself.....
ReplyDeleteSo, are the poop-shooters related to the 'Toilet Paper' Bandit?????
